Chad and I went
over to Hill House Manor on Saturday to
video tape Linda's walk through with
some ghost hunters. All in all it was
pretty damn cool. I'll defiantly be
back, that's for sure. I've faced my
fear of the downstairs bathroom, which
if you know me, you know that's a really
odd fear.
I love the bathroom.
Not this one, though, in fact I haven't
been back past it since the first time a
few years ago. I got some ooky ass vibes
off it, and just didn't want to be
around it. Well, not only did I go back,
but I went back with only Chad and a
flashlight as protection. I actually got
no ooky feelings this time, like before,
but I was a giant dumbshit and scared
myself via flashlight and shadows. We
have video, which I'll have up soon, and
all it shows is me looking like a giant
feeb.
Which I'm sure more than a few of you
would like to see.
While we were awaiting the ghost hunters
arrival Linda suggested we shoot
something, so on the fly, we created
this:
Which, I'm sure, many of you have
already seen. Thanks for all the
comments on our little goof. It
literally took about 15 minutes to shoot
with about 4 minutes of footage. I was
really surprised with how it came out.
For what it is, I think it looks damn
good, and I'm proud of my angling
ability. As many seem to think, and ask,
we did NOT have a teeter totter, pulley
system (really?), or anything like that.
It was sheer videographing genius.
And if you're wondering if we found
anything in the house during our own
investigation the answer is a yes.
At least I think so.
We started out in the window room, which
if you hit up
Hill House Manor , you can check out
a LOT of pictures including the window
room. I started taking stills as Chad
manned the camera. I started getting a
very strange apparition appear in the
same spot, in various 'poses'. We
brought them down stairs and enlarged
them on the laptop, still somewhat
peculiar. Little did we know that Chad's
giant Pallett sized brain was on the
job.
The 'apparition' was quickly debunked as
reflective light. Ah well, right? Sure.
We snapped a lot of pictures of 'orbs',
which I'm pretty skeptical about, I'm on
the side of the fence that believes
they're dust particles, mostly. I think
I reserve a bit of belief simply so I'm
never proven wrong. (That's a joke.)
I did capture some interesting 'worm'
like objects, two in fact. One, against
some blinds in the window room and
another downstairs near the crazy
bathroom. Here's the first one, from the
window room:
(on any of these pics, I'd advise saving
them and enlarging them. Let me know if
you find anything further on the topic
of these 'worms' or if you can debunk.)
This next couple are in the same spot,
mere seconds apart.
I honestly don't know what to make of
these pics, and I want to go back at
some point and do some video capture. We
also attempted to record EVP's, but
we've yet to hear them. I tried to keep
it serious, asking regular questions,
until the end when I asked any present
spirits if they found Chad hot. I'll
flip my shit if there's an EVP with a
cloudy voice saying 'lol'.
Either way, I highly suggest
experiencing the house for yourself. You
can book a sleepover if you're a
non-ghost hunter, and all the info can
be found at
